Living Unapologetically: Crafting Success for a Radically Authentic Life

There’s a moment when you realize that the script everyone seems to follow isn’t for you. I had that moment young. Growing up in the Maplewood District of Rochester, New York, my life has been an ongoing mix of contradictions and unexpected lessons. Catholic school without baptism. Private school without privilege. A whole lot of street smarts, empathy, and, let's be honest, a bit of defiance. While most people see life’s challenges as something to overcome, I see them as fertile ground to grow something new. Something uniquely mine.

I was always the kid who knew there was more beyond the surface of things. I’d dive into the Dewey Decimal system like it was a treasure hunt, excited by the endless rows of knowledge at my fingertips. Forget the plastic toys; I wanted a bag filled with books. I’ve been a relentless self-educator ever since. I’ve taught myself everything—from business and strategy to sustainable living and the messy art of just being human. No degrees, no formal accolades, just a passion for learning and creating that never quits.

I believe knowledge and intellect aren’t measured by diplomas; they are lived and proven in the trenches of life. I don't need a piece of paper to validate my wisdom; my work speaks for itself. Look at Fernwick Artisans—what started as an idea turned into a thriving community of makers, built from the ground up in less than a year. Why? Because I chose to redefine what was possible by breaking all the rules.

The Game Plan

But this isn’t just about my past; it’s about where I’m heading. And if you know me at all, you know I don’t dream small. I’m charting a course that combines writing, sharing, educating, and even gaming (Catch me on Twitch @c0113tta). Each day is another page in the story I'm crafting, another brick in the empire I'm building. I want to create sustainable income streams that allow me to keep diving into my passions and bringing others along for the ride.

I’m not just a dreamer; I’m a doer. My days are a beautiful balancing act of hobbies, business strategies, and rebellious artistry. You’ll find me pouring candles at Fernwick Artisans or setting up the Village Makers Market—a community initiative rooted in philanthropy and creativity. You might catch me streaming on Twitch, where I embrace my quirky, gamer-girl energy. My creative process is all about living authentically and practicing my hobbies beautifully and consistently.

Living Out Loud

Now, let’s get a little more personal. I'm an exhibitionist, and I'm damn proud of it. I’m not here to be a wallflower. I’m here to stand tall in who I am, fully aware and fully expressive. I want to live boldly and show up unapologetically in every aspect of my life. Dating in this era? Yeah, no thanks. I’ve got better things to do than overinvest in someone who doesn’t get it. My heart is too valuable to waste on mediocrity, and honestly, the game these days is broken. I'm staying single, thank you very much, and channeling that energy into things that feed my soul.

Manifesting My Dreams

I’ve got my eyes on a few material things that symbolize the culmination of my hard work and dedication. Two Broncos (Badlands and Raptor), a Triumph Café Racer, and a murdered-out '67 Camaro with modern tech and sustainable features. A girl’s got to have her toys, right? But it’s not about the stuff—it’s about what it represents: freedom, independence, and a life I’ve built on my own terms.

But what am I using to fuel these dreams? Writing, educating, gaming, and more importantly—sharing my knowledge and passions with the world. My work with Fernwick Artisans is just the beginning; it’s proof that I can create something from nothing, fill it with meaning, and make it thrive. It’s about creating spaces where others feel inspired to do the same.

And then there’s the Village Makers Market, my grassroots initiative to build a community of crafty folks who are driven by purpose and the greater good. It's a space where creativity meets philanthropy. It’s where we make a difference, not just products.

The Bigger Picture

My ambitions are vast. Financial freedom is just the tip of the iceberg. I want to build a community where we elevate each other, where we thrive creatively and financially. I want to help people find their voice in a world that often tries to stifle it. And most of all, I want to prove that you don’t have to follow anyone else’s path to create the life you want. You make your own rules, you define your own success.

This is me—Courtney Colletta Magoon. A rebel scholar, an unapologetic creator, a lover of all things raw and real. Follow along if you dare. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover and a whole world to change.
